Default Tranny ? PLEASE HELP

My 4l60e is all messed up, I was driving down the road and with no warning it just strated free reving :confused: so I get the car home and start it up and go to put it in reverse and nothing so I try drive and nothing.....does ne1 know what this mean.




Any kinda feedback is good feedback.

what u do to get it to stop "free revving" put it in a lower gear? Sounds just like badluck, and will cost you about 1200-1600 bucks+ for the rebuild.

the clutches are gone in it probley..pull it out and just get a 700r4 or a damn th400 or 350 and be done with it.

call crt tranmissons..they are the best i think..u go to the track and half the cars there will be running one of there trans..and there not to pricey..call them and explain whats going on..i dont think its the tq converter..the pump probley went out or like i said the clutches went to shit..

I forgot to put in there that the car will drive fine when its cold but as soon as it warms up it loses all gears

well with the pump being sort of shot or on its last leg when the trans fluid is cold it will send more pressure to the veins witch then will make the car shift fine..once it worms up its gets thinner and it cant build the right pressure in the trans so there for it wont shift right..

this is all just what i'm figureing..but i say its the pump..call crt transmissions like i said
