CAr wont start

Default CAr wont start

i know this is the honda/acura tech but its the most viewed and i need help badly.I have a 1998 cadillac seville,and i went to go start it and the starter didnt even click or anything,so i tried to jump it and my battery is fine,when i turn the key nothing happens at all,my headlights dont work,interior lights wont turn on,no lights in the dash go on,does any one have na idea of what to do????

i think you need to check your main engine fuses and relays, thats pretty much the only thing that would cause that. check/replace all the relays and fused in the engine fuse box, especially the ignition relay, then let us know what you find out.

not to be a dick but why not try the G/M tech....it moves just as much.

why do you say the battery is fine?

With the car sitting as is with no jumper hooked up...does any lights come on?

When its jumped do any lights come on?

How are the connections? Grounds?

a relay/fuse can cause the battery not to have power... cuz with a bad relay/fuse the power will not be able to go throu to power up anything in the car. if you look into the fuse panel, you should see a few big relays, these things happen when one of the major ones are blown.

relay or fuses check them all and please give us more info like al said do the lights work when being jumped and so on.
