I am almost certain he can. That mofo knows all. So did you get your steel shift forks and hardened gears? If not there is no point in rebuilding a T56 back to stock.

I wouldnt say that.... My friend had a motor put in there and now its FUBARed.... I used to recommend him firsthand untill what happened. I would contact Transmission Physicians 813-835-8728. It takes a lot to impress me and Fernando has done it.

I have just never had any bad experiences with AV, that blows about that motor. But hey shop around it never hurts. What let go in the motor?

I dont want to drag him into this...

-three rocker arms not connected to the push rod or valve
-one lifter had broken into pieces
-one severly bent pushrod
-one missing pushrod
-and one of the bolts to hold down the valve cover was also bent

The motor was babied because he was told the tune was off and not to romp on it. I can verify this because he wouldnt even rev it when I asked him to before he found all this stuff.. Also, he lost compression on a cylinder or 2. Now, let me state this, this was a factory crate motor and was installed by AV. IMHO, If im installing a motor, Im going to check it out especially after he complained about it and then let him keep driving it. I dont know what exactly AV installed on the motor, but its just MHO.

well it sounds like he had a bad experience for sure. That sucks. In my experience though greg is as honest and hardworking tech as there ever was. If there was something done incorrectly I would be extremely suprised to find that greg didnt do everything in his power to fix the issue, if he was made aware of it. He and frctom are a great pair and it is hard to find a shop that is more down to earth and less condescding than those two.
