help with cam install
yeah that doesnt seem like a fun job, specially if your changing valve springs.. probably need to strip the top of the motor.. un do all the motor mounts, and lift up the front of the motor so that you can pull the cover off and take the cam out. Im assuming its a hydraulic set up which is a lot easier cause you dont have to set the valve clearance. The most difficult part is going to be the work space in the front of the motor. hope you have a manual for all the torque specs and timing set up. Id help you but i dont have much time off.. i can come help you one day after i get off.. it would be like 6:00 though. let me know. im sure we could do it in 4-5 hrs.
That is one helluva a task. I would not endeavor into that myself by anymeans.
However please do share what it is like afterwards. What kind of cam and where did you get it?

its a custom grind that zzperformance has made by Comp Cams and here is the specs on it:
· 210°/210° at .050"
· Intake Lift .317" (.507" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
· Exhaust Lift .317" (.507" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
· 113 LSA
the best part about this cam too is that you don't need a new torque converter or gear change to see gains, you dont have to program out the PO300 code and it will drop quarter times by half a sec
. it is expected also to add 20-30hp.

I dont think it would come out the top with the transaxle attached and all the CV joints and shafts. Itd be more work than dropping from the bottom with everything still attached.
