I don't know much about the four cylinder craze but I know that some back pressure is essential and it might end up hurting the performance. Who knows though don't take my word for it!

Ok, not to bash on you Austin, but you are gonna go and buy yourself that little thingy.
The design I don't like because it is a strict 90 degree turn which in real worl Turbo cars is NOT wanted, you want smooth curves.
Having a Turbo car and the same motor as you Saturn guy if you have Ecotec, these damn motor are VERY loud open downpipe even if it is 3 inch, and it get annoying after 2 days.
The flap is activated with boost and the vacuum line would probably melt or burn up from so much heat coming out ever regular fuel line would probably, and you have no say when the thing opens up.
When you get on it it does.
So it is all nice and everything and you go to the dyno, you strap your car you are about to do some tunning and you start pinging a little not being able to hear it from the exhaust you saty into it and it because considerably more a lot faster and there goes your motor. JK It could happen, that is why it would be nice to have a nice quiet turbo system.
Also, another thing that happens is if you have Ecotec, it backfires pretty bad even at 11.8-11.9 A/F and when that thing catches you off guard during decelerating with open downpipe, damn near gives you a fucking heart attact.
Speaking from experience.

It looks catchy and all, but I don't like it, IMHO.

Ok I see, I was about to tell you as catchy as it might look I don't think it is very good.

Might as well just head on down to Sears, buy a weedwhacker, and hang that sum bitch out the window if you like that sound. You're not going to see any performance gains by sticking an e-cutout on a Saturn and you'll annoy just as many people with the weedwhacker. It's probably cheaper to go the weedwhacker route anyway.

Just a QTP or a DMH performance electric cutout and have it welded in. I just don't know if they make them that small....
