L98's are slower than LT1's, and the peanut gallery is right. For him vettes are overrated.

Vette's are so damn sexy. I love the look of them i love everything about them. I like the C4's but i would rather have the C5 Z06. The new C6's are speachless. Bump b/c vette's own.

no i got the humor in it no big deal i'am just not a big fan of the older vettes... i should of specified...the new ones kick ass but the older ones just dont compare to the newer vettes thats all..

 

I had an 89 for a while. My MPG averaged around 21-22 . The L98 is a torque monster. I think 1500 is a more realistic # for rubber. Otherwise normal wear-n-tear stuff isnt too expensive.

 

i had a 81 & 89 ,problem was no room for the growing family ,but i would by a new camaro with zo6 valve train in it ,we sold new zo6 $20,000 over list 3 weeks ogo ,bad ass car ,well see all the problems in a few months,or so ,some of these guy's r blowing the rears right out of these 04 05 vettes pulling 2nd,on the rev limitter.

Oh yes and vettes are sex. I would love to own a C5 z06, although if I was big baller I'd have to get a new c6 z06, even the regular ones are sex, I saw one the other day and about plowed into the back of a semi staring at its sexy ass end.

 

that it was rebuilding her now bodys done ,motor done ,i need th400 ,have to have headers maid for new motor,had to sit it back 1 inch,because of oil pan.

 

anyone know about the zr1 corvette.. asside from the c6 it is to me the most impressive corvette

 

I average 16-18 MPG in my C6. I have a heavy foot and floor it all the time though.

I have only installed a B&B Route 66 exhaust system. My electronic cutouts should be arriving soon so that should acctually make the car sound like the beast it is.
