The Official Header Install thread
well... since I got a real job now.. I started actually modding my car..
I picked up a use set ... from my buddy whos going turbo..
Pacesetter LT's and the TSP true dual system..
now I dont want EGR/AIR and I dont know if these are race type headers or the one with the emissions..
since I just hit 100k I think I'm gona get sparkplugs too... I already have new MSD wires.. what plugs do you reccomend?
and last but not least... whats the easiest way installing LT's on a LS1?

I think you should get NGK sparkplugs.

Install is pretty straightforward. Get the front end up as high as you can, raise the rear some too so you got plenty of room under there. Definitely change your plugs while you have the manifolds off. It will never be as easy to change them as now!
Both sides will go in from the bottom. My dr. side took some cussin, and trying diff. angles, but it went in.

make it really easy on yourself and jack the driver side of the engine up as well..

Definately unbolt the motor mount on the driver side and jack up the engine, makes it much easier, and with the kooks we put on my brother's car, it was the only way to do it. It's pretty straight foward, not real difficult at all.
