Well last night i went to start my car. It started fine but there is a loud noise coming from around the starter area. It sounds like the starter is not disengaging at all. Its just spinning. So i shut the car off, and WTF its still on. Now the car is off but the starter is still engaged(not trying to start just spinning). By the time i figure its the starter, ive got smoke coming from that area and shit. But heres the question WTF would keep power the bitch if the car was off?

 

SOunds like the starter solenoid is stuck. Its the small cylinder on the side of the starter or it could be that the relay is stuck open. The smoke is likely from the battery cable running to the starter. Make sure to check it once you have the starter out.
