Default Piston slap......

Is there any certian piston or is it random. I ask cause I have a tapping noise coming from the back piston on the pass. side.

So I guess my ? is: what is more common from missing gears or over reving piston slap or a bent rod cause thats the only thing I think I've done is over reved and missed a few gears.

the more imput the better.

Thanx James

BTW the car has 54xxx miles on it

you cant over rev by missing a gear unless you down shifted on accident (mechanical over rev). If thats the case, you likely have a bent pushrod. Its very common on an over rev... also, so are bent valves.

also like I said the ticking noise could be a ton of things

wire arching, exhaust leak, low oil pressure(causing valvetrain noise), etc

do the screw driver test I told you about you lazy mofo and also check all the plug connections
