Default Gauges for non boosted car

What kind of gauges are 'in' for a non-boosted grocery getter? I'm thining of glassing two gauges into my console one is a volmeter, so what should the other be?

Car: grandprix 03
Engine: GM 3.8 series 2 no eaton

gauges are only for necessity. otherwise it is ricer to me IMO. spend your money how you want. but who needs a voltmeter? lol.

ricer? umm see below. voltmeter is so i can monitor power consumption, lots of lights, amps, and my electric supr charger use a lotta power.... just jk about the super charger.

could use the money toward a bigger alternator. i held off on guages for like 2 years cause i didnt want to get them just to have them. now i actually have reason for mine. ps your car should have a factory voltmeter

Seriously, though. Why the hell do you want gauges to be 'in?' Spend the money to make your car faster, or make it run better. If you're concerned about keeping an eye on something, put a gauge and a warning light/alarm on it, but only if you need to. I mean, hell, I know if I had my way, I'd have a fucking wall of gauges and screens that told me everything happening in my car, but thats because my car makes all sorts of funny noises and smells and it freaks the hell out of me.

If you don't have any special reason to keep an eye on something, then don't worry about a gauge for it.
