Fordified, I'm sure I can nab an oil pan that'll fit. What are we talkign with the LT1 engine here?

ok I'm lost. VIP. He's got access to 2 LS1 vette's. LS1 vettes have the tranny in the rear of the car so it most definitely would NOT be a 1 day swap.

Oh, they're both LS1s? I must've misread. I have absolutely no idea how that tranny in the rear of the car would be transplanted over to my dirty bird...but yeah...its a 95 v6 Firebird, so I'm assumming no matter what, that 5.7L would fit under the hood (and if not, I'll get a new damn hood). Am I wrong about this? If not, I'd seriously consider buying it and whatever other odds and ends can be transfered over - I'm weighing the cost of swapping vs. buying a v8.

He needs to give us access to those two vehicles. I would love to have a bunch of extra parts. I've been thinking about HUD and some other things. Hell just the ac compressors alone would be good for me. Mine seem to keep blowing up. It would be nice if you share the access. Some of us will even help you remove parts and help you get them to whereever you want.
