vince doesnt go to BMP anymore.

a BUNCH of fbodys (and LT1s) were there during the day. 10.9 @ 117 mph n/a stock eliminator LT1 was the best of the bunch. bunches of 12-11 second fbodys there.

If there were no other issues at top end and he didn't let out, that's an incredible 60ft for sure!

 

he didnt let out. thats normal for stock eliminator NHRA classes FI/A. stock lift cam, stock heads, stock compression, stock TB, huge limitations on headers, etc etc

And he was pissed he was "only" cutting 1.34 60's his 1st couple passes . I was there trying out my new rear, and some ET streets. I cut a 1.62 60' running a 11.70@114. My best 60' previously was a 1.89. Have a BAD vibration above 90mph that I need to track down.

corvette challenge gay? I think it is cool to see people beatin on expensive cars. This class has some really great racers too, some are champions in other sportsman classes. They just race the vettes for fun. Also, I think vettes are the ultimate american sports car. My brothers 2001 vette runs high 12's with only a ram air kit.
