Default 84 Monte SS headers.

I dont know what to do. I have an 84 monte ss that i have bagged on 20's with everything tubbed out. The car is still under contruction but i am not much of an engine person. Right now i have headman headers on it and when i lay it out the headers hit the ground first causing it not to lay frame in the front of the car. I am sure i have prob done some damage to them. I want to get headers that will work with my car that has the stock 305 in it and wont go past the cross member/frame. Any help..... As i am not familiar with engine parts/names any website links would be great.

For a 305 thats not in a go-fast car, id throw the stock manifolds back on. You shouldnt have any issues with clearance.

there was way to much emmision shit involved, smoke pump, and a bunch of other useless stuff that was broken when i bought it. I do have an intake and a diff carb on it to clean up the engine compartment.

just plug up the holes with screws, or JB Weld. Nothing fancy needed, its just exhuast pipes. they wil still work without the smog pump.
