Default no power from a complete stop

my car is at it again, it's got perfect power all around, but it seems like
from 0mph it has almost like a turbo lag feel(no power til the rpms
get higher) I can't break the tires loose even if I stall it up to 1500rpm, but if
I punch it from 20-30mph it fucking hauls and chirps the tires between gears.

quick question can a noisey engine compartment cause my knock module
to pull timing and would it cause similar symptoms like this?

ok EGR is fairly new, 5k miles
TPS is new, like 4k miles
converter(if talking about cat and not torque) is gutted
not throwing any MAF codes though

as for the tranny, even if I drop it to 1st gear manual, and it does
down shift, the result is still the same

the idle is fairly good, slight "bump" every once in a while in the idle,
nothing major, occasionally idles too high though, and tranny will kick
into gear extremely hard. also when this problem occurs, power loss is
extremely noticeable at any speed.

I'm thinking this is sensor related, I.E. knock module, map, tps, maf
though since the aforemention problem occurs randomly, every once
in a while.

my engine bay is fairly noisey decent sound of clicking, doesn't sound
like a rod knocking though, more like a slight tick, and my exhaust is
fairly loud so I figure maybe my car is pulling timing somewhere.

like stated before the power loss only really occurs from a complete
stop, if I punch it from 10mph+ power is normal and the car will
perform well.

also my car will occasionally click/pop a few times under the hood before the
tranny shifts from and will hold the gear longer than normal.

also as for the neutral revving it seems to rev perfectly normal, no hesitation whatsoever

also this pic seems to describe my problem in the definition

OBD-I O2 sensors usually don't throw codes when they're bad.

Definitely looks rich, that smoke was pure black. Was the car warm when you did that?

Hmm, does it have any power when it's cold (i.e. before it goes into closed loop)? Try unplugging the MAF and driving the car around. That'll keep you in open loop and rule out any sensor problems.

also my car will occasionally click/pop a few times under the hood before the
tranny shifts from and will hold the gear longer than normal.
