Default Fixing to go insane..

Ok, I have a Proform 750, it was running rich as fuck (#74/#84). So, I changed the jets to-#70/#75. Changed the PowerVavle and then put the carb back together. I also adjusted my vavles. I use NGK-5671 a-7 plugs, they come pregapped to .25 I was told to gap them @ .35. So, I gapped my plugs, put all my wires on. I hop in the car and I'm about to go for a test drive..SIKE.

The car turns on and just dies. It'll stay alive for as long as I hold the gas pedal, but when I let off. "Da DA DDAAA.." DEAD. No matter how long I keep it alive it sounds like it's cold as fuck. Hmm? I tried idling it up, still no good. Any suggestions? I was supposed to go to TRAckday..ffs.

Buy a Honda. JFWY

Have you tried playing with the fuel flow, maybe you're not getting enough at idle?

I am about to. Yes, it's getting plently of fuel. Now, fucking #1 isn't firing. The plug itself is getting fire, but the header stays ICE cold. Maybe a good boot to the fender will solve my problems.

Update: I got the car running...but, the #1 still isn't firing.

The motor has: compression, gas, spark (outside the cyl) but as soon as you put the plug back in, no fire. It fires a tad when being reved up. wtf m8?

Replace the plug?

Oh yeah, and you don't kick the fender of old domestics - you hit them with a sledge wherever the problem is. Smash the block a few times, it'll fix right up.

I waited until it's dark. I turned on the car to see if I had any majoc arcs. I had non, I then checked to see if the fucking plug is firing and wow. The #1 plug is firing, vavle train is moving up and down, plenty of gas / compression. Yet, the header stays cold. Any ideas?

Is it stuttering?
Could be a bent pushrod.
Also could be a problem with your ignition. Im ass-u-me-ing that your running an MSD box to an stock type distributor?
And your sure the plug is firing?

I don't know if I would call it stuttering. IT seems that the #1 cyl fires during a certain RPM lets say, 2500. AT idle and <2500 it doesn't.

I am running a MSD 6-AL with a Pro Billet distributor. I am sure the plug is firing, I can see the blue glow from the head.
