Default camaro driveshaft question

ok, my 94 camro (auto) has the doookie ass 2 peice driveshaft and the bearing is bad..... still works but clunks when you shift it.

anyway, my question is can i just replace this with a 1 peice driveshaft from a v-8 auto car? i know they sell replacement 1 peices but they are pricey for what they are.

I really dont see why the geniuses at GM decided to put the 2 peice in there, probably a leftover from something.......

lt1's have a one peice, thats what i want to use, only the v-6s have the 2 peice, for some dumb reason.

i would think, the 4l60e mounting in the same location on both cars, that the lt1 shaft would fit, just wondered of someone knew for sure before i spend any money.

ok, since the gm tech's in here arent use to dealing with the high power high performance 3.4l cars i took my search elsewhere,

apparently v-8 1 peice shafts will work, and the manual and auto shafts are the same, just figured id post it up for futrue reference if someone searches.

if anyone knows different please post.......

Just put a new 2 piece in it. I had 160k miles on my V6 and only replaced the driveshaft once due to those busted joints. It was my fault anyway for side-stepping the clutch in reverse
