Its Alive "The Sequel"
nother LT1 that came to life yesterday at 2pm..... finished the motor, tranny, brakes etc...
Now think of the 1 of the most scariest things that could happen after several thousand dollars and months or putting a car together....

How about getting in your car backing out and hearing an explosion and a loud hissing....
Could it be some psycho fuel pump explosion from behind???
Some jack ass left a can of enamel out the side of the alley and my drag radial crushed it.. and it exploded all over my rim,tire and quarter panel.... Thank god for solvent being able to take that shit off my paint..
So took it out for a drive... the Spec stage 2 feels pretty good... grabby but no chatter..
New rotors and pads feel good... Zinc slotted rotors look great behind chrome five stars.. Im sooo happy with the new look.
Motor runs pretty good but i think i have collapsed lifters.. It produced loud cackling from the rockers after a 2nd adjustment... It cackled the 1st time... found the rockers and readjusted them.. went to subway and back and i could hear the rockers again... thats not right.. So i thinking those lifters are bad from the last motor dying.... If i pop the valve covers and find the same rockers are out of adjustment with the locks on tight then i know the lifters are fubar...
Very happy overall... little bit of throttle produces good power... still cant get on it cuz of the clutch break in... I have faith in the LE heads... No header leaks... they were put on with great force... had to drill one of the heads and use heli coil.. and other slight problems along the journey...
Most importantly the Bose system still works.... cuz when i break it again i'll need something to listen to while i wait for the tow truck

Yes I am sllightly aroused... is this normal? There was a B4C in the parking lot... then I felt a tingle in my paints?
