turbo cavi
I'm calling BS on this. I have a 2001 Cavi with the 2200 engine like you. The car can only run 6-8psi on stock internals (with upgraded fuel rail, pump, and injectors)...9-10 maybe. 19psi and that engine would be in pieces right now. I'll believe it when I see an accurate dyno readout. If you can prove this, then I will gladly admit my fault and be the next in line to shake your hand. Until then, I can't possibly believe this.
if he's saying STOCK internals, then yeah I call BS too, dont think he specified though, on looking at the pictures though those do look like cast pistons...but so can forged with a thermal coating on top....I tend to assume anyone who adds an turbo to a non turbo engine does the job right and rebuilds forged...which I know most dont do...they think spending $3000+ on a turbo kit is fine, but cant take the expense of an extra $800 for some forged pistons and rods? it doesnt make much sense to me to turbocharge a stock engine when forged stuff isnt much more expensive(unless your the junkyard turbo kinda person, then it makes sense)
So I wasn't the one seeing this as nonsense.

first of i dont mind anyone pullin the bs flag out because i have had it done many times to me befor and yes i WAS runnin stock internals but with 440cc injectors, cartech fmu, 255lph walbro intank fuel pump, MSD wires and coil pates, and STAND ALONE, O yea a shit load of head work W/ race valves and dead soft head gasket. and my new motor is fully built so yea when i get it runnin i run you T3T04E!

19 psi WAS pushing it thats why it broke cylinder #2 ring land......... now i got my new motor in and im running 8 psi and im happy its fun and relyable which is all i want untill i build a motor from the ground up............O yea T3T04E i have to give you mad props with your set up............will run for fun this thursday if you want.
