Default headers on an olds

hey fellas i ahve an 88 oldmobile cutlass supreme with a 307 5.0 v8 i just put an edelbrock intake manifold on it along with a new valley pan gasket and tep sensors etc... now i am already in the works of gettin an after market carberator for it but its not a must at the moment because mine is in perfect shape. now what i wanted to know was how hard it would be to put a set of headers on it? the headers would make the polution pump obsolete(sp?) and would indeed clean up the engine bay and add power at the same time and i wont have that nasty leak anymore .does any one know what kind of a task doing the headers is? does any one know of a place that will do it in st pete ive taken it to a couple people i know and they didnt seem to interested. any help is appreciated thanks....

I have an 86 IROC-Z, nothing on this car (as far as the engine goes) is original. I put hooker comp. shorties on it when I had the engine out to be boared. I dunno about an 88 supreme, but I can the shorties in and out of my Camaro with little trouble. I also have headers on my 67' Chevelle, but they're long and I have to take the starter off to get the passenger side headers in and out, and the driver side headers had to come up from the bottom of the car. No matter what, headers are a pain in the ass. Like I said, cant picture the engine bay of an 88 Olds. They'll be a pain in the ass, but it'll be worth the extra power... good luck man
