Default CTS-V - What a ride!

Wow.

I was given the opportunity to drive a Cadillac CTS-V this past saturday at a local drift event. The owner of the track wanted to see his car driven hard, and he asked me to do it.

Not knowing much about the CTS-V, I assumed it would be rather hard to drift. When he told me it had sport suspension and an LS6 under the hood, coupled to a six speed, I figured It would be a fun challenge.

Boy , was I wrong.

That thing is incredible! Power everywhere, Independent rear suspension, awesome handling, awesome turn in, did i mention power and torque EVERYWHERE?? That car is a blast!@!

The interior is very nice, unlike alot of what GM puts out, the shifter is very positive, everything on it is well done. I love the feel of this huge sedan sliding around, or even gripping around the track..

I dunno, I just figured i'd mention it to you guys.

A kid at my school comes out with one every so often and takes out a few cars. They're bad, oh yes they're bad.

that would be the cadillac xlr and it has nothing to do with the Z06.. Its just built on the c6 corvette frame but still houses a caddy northstar not an ls6. I think its a 4.? liter engine. And priced around $75k.
