Clutch Preference?
What would you guys suggest for a clutch for my 94. This stock 1 is close to its death. Kinda bad on the dyno, but pulls hard with acceration and NO slipping. As far as bang for the buck, what would be my best bet?

z06 clutch?
you don't want to go too heavy duty because then shifting becomes kind of a pain and they have a shorter live(from what I've heard)

I rock a Centerforce clutch in my '67. It has a very light disengagement, but it has these neat centrifugal weights on it that increase the spring compression as the clutch spins higher RPMs. I've had no problems with it and my knee is very happy with the light spring at idle
zo6 clutch will not fit on an lt1... go with centerforce dual friction.. i just got mine put in and it rocks..

if your planning on gripping with a 75 shot and the bolt ons you have you will have a lot of torque behind you (over 400ft lbs) you can get away with a spec stage 2 also but if you plan on upgrading you should go with their spec stage 3.. they make awesome clutchs but streetability is limited... also life is shorter... honestly i go back to my previous statement.. get the centerforce dual friction clutch.. it is perfect for street and occasional strip use... it will withstand your 75 shot and then some and it is very driveable you wont be dissapointed

what are ur hp goals? if ur car is gonna be under 350-400hp, get an lt4 clutch. at autozone, the lt1 replacement clutch they have is exactly the same as an lt4 clutch. costs just less than $200. if ur looking at over 400hp, check www.camaroz28.com they have lots of info on all the different clutch sets
