Default Blown headgasket

I have a 97 Z28 with a blow headgasket with no power adders.

My ? is if its possible to get the heads off without having to pull the engine? And is it common for stock LT1 to do this?

lmao.....pull the engine to remove the heads?

I know lt1's are a bitch but they're not THAT bad

I had to the pull one of the heads on my car, not that bad really

as for blowing the head gasket, depends if you were on the stock
gasket and for how many miles, any car can blow a head gasket.

If you need any help working on it, PM me. it's like a 1 day job if you take your time.

Default head gasket

Im doing a head gasket job on a LtI with a paxton side mount right now, piece of cake. Even a novice whould be able to handle it easily. Three biggest things, Cleaning the parts, inspecting the parts (machine shop, if you have no idea), and assembly, torque it right, get a clicking torque wrench. just my 0.02!

if you ever plan on adding any sort of power adders and/or nitrous, a set of copper head gaskets may be a good investment.
