Hey, does anyone know if you can remove the top speed limiter w/ stock ecu and all. the only thing i have modded is my muffler, i have an o2 sensor (Will that damage my motor if i run it too often?) and a half-ass CAI.

 

I hear if you put a 3 foot wing on the back of your car you'll gain 20mph in your top end. There's no limiter on the Sunfire, it just can't go any faster due to loss of traction. You definitely need a wing or two.

 

I think 10 or more stickers will disable the top speed limiter as well....

 

I have 23 stickers on mine- mostly care bear- and my truck still tops off at 54mph- Do i need more

 

Sounds like your engine is damaged from using your O2 sensor too much if you ask me, but I'm no mechanic.

make sure you are not running your o2 sensor at idle.. or under a big shot of nos or you will fry the piston rings..

as tro ad to Mike's Dont worry about the nos and any dangers to ur manifold the floorboard will most likely just fall out and there will be a great display of sparks everywhere
