There are $1000MSRP cat backs available for the Subarus. An equal length 4-1 header setup runs around $700. Up-pipes can go to $300 with flex sections(pointless) and downpipes run into the $400 range, without cats. I didn't pay that much for any of my stuff, but it's possible to. Then you start talking rails, injectors, fuel pumps, FMIC, gauges, etc...it hurts to think about it and I got solid prices on EVERYTHING.
Then you get on to dyno tuning, ECU reflashing and labor...holy shite did that all sting. If I had to do it all again, I would have waited for a STi, then spent all that money, but I've enjoyed the car enough to probably be willing to go through all that check writing one more time.
That said, it would be nice to get it all ordered and done with at once with the next car. Hopefully it will be a black on black FRC sex machine.
