Default new LS1 record..stock block, stock crank ,stock head casting, etc

Just got the call from thunder!!! Harlans run was as follows.....

60ft.....1.301
330......3.54
1/8......5.369
mph.....134.5
1000....6.95
1/4......8.299
mph.....166.62

This was during test & tune the night before the race. Could there be a 7 second LS1 on the stock block and crank, head castings, intake, and computer?

it is amazing. al, as long as you can get around the turbo tubing/manifold, everything else is pretty easy.

what is the most amazing thing about that run is the "soft" 1.30 60' time.

update...Harlan hit 170+ in the finals. Thats just insane for so many stock parts. He has to be pushing some serious HP. The intake and heads are good stuff from the factory......but I am very surprised at the stock aluminum block and crank. I would not have guessed it could take this much HP. I bet he is near 1200 fwhp or more. I am willing to bet the iron block version could be good to 2000hp.

I am feeling a bit better about my stock crank on this build Im doing now
