Default fuel problems small block chevy

took my car to the track and around 3000 rpms they would drop an go back up then drop. i had to stay on the throttle an it eventually would go an i could shift. it has a stock fuel pump that i pressure tested it a it has 10 psi at idle. so i thiink it is lossing pressure when i am at full throttle. edlebrock carb on there now and rebuilding a holley with vacum secondaries. any suggestions thanks

run your fuel pressure at about 7 psi. make sure your idle air holes on top of your carb. are clean. With the fuel pressure that high, you might be flooding it out. check float levels too.
