Best engine builder?
Any body know of a good engine shop in the Tampa bay area? Im having my Big block chevy totally rebuilt with new parts and was gonna take it to the nelson brothers but decided to come here and see if any body had any better oppinions on where to take my motor to be built? Thx guys....

Locally Robert Fulco has all the best equipment, knowledge, and resources to build the best. But he does not come cheap nor will it happen quickly but like anything else in life you always get what you pay for and good things come to those that wait. I just spent several months researching this very topic and all of the hardcore guys came back to Fulco everytime.
Keep in mind too that there are engine builders and machine shops that offer building as a secondary service. Make sure you do your homework and choose wisely.

Id say Dwans, because my dads cousin works there, Nelson weve have some bad luck with, Fletchers is also dependable

he builds alot of engines for 10.5 and stock suspension cars that run at sunshine.
he's going to do my combo for stock suspension
i think last years 10.5 champ at sunshine had one of his engines in it
this years combo champ use's his engine
i've talked to him a couple of times he is very nice and will build what ever u want,he will also help u out with getting it tuned
his son is a member on here i forgot his s.n though very good people.

well I mean its not dwans anymore someone else owns the place, but its where my dad goes, they know what they are doing. and Nelson weve have some trouble when they didnt bore the block perfectly one time, and than the crank bearings were to tight another time, Fletchers I havent heard anything bad about
