Default HP Tuners: Anyone using it?

Is anyone using the HP Tuners software (http://www.hptuners.com)?

If so, how do you like it? What are the good and bad parts of it?

Thanks,
Lincoln

Im about to be, just need to buy it. IMHO it the best tuning software out yet. It has a scanner AND tuning software. LS1Edit, you have to buy and then buy a scanner such as EFI Live.... Also, HP Tuners is NOT locked to the VIN number, only the year. So you can tune any car for that year, not just yours. you can also incorperate a wideband onto the scanner software...

I used it, but I sold it after I sold my z06.

It seemed very intuitive to use to me..And there was plenty of help availible via their forums. I never had a problem with it on the 3 different computers I used it on. I managed to use it to get about 368/373 rwhp/rwtq on my z06 with just headers at coastal dyno in 93 degree heat.

If you've got an ls1/ls6 you definitely need something to tune it, and HPtuners is the best thing out there right now IMO.

I have heard very good things about it. Loading a program is very fast.

Also, THE BEST feature... if for some reason you lose connection with the PCM (either laptop dies, cable comes unplugged, whatever) HP Tuners has a recovery feature that will fix the PCM where as with Edit, the PCM is DEAD and WILL need a dealer reflash and it isnt free.

yup ls1edit sucks in that reguard. i had to pay for a dealer reflash (wasnt cheap) when the laptop took a dump in the middle of a download. oh yea i was pissed! ls1edit sucks compared to this stuff from the end user standpoint.
