Unhappy fuel pressure

have a problem!.doing whats supposed to be a simple fuel filter change is givin me alot of ****!.Im sure everyone knows that to take the pressure out the fuel lines you have to take out the fuel pump fuse n let it run till it stalls out.Well on my iroc the fuel pump is sharing the same fuse with fuel injector and it wont start up at all....any ideas on how to do it without just disconnecting the lines and getting gas everywere????.

gas is going to run our reguardless because of the fuel in the lines themselves. You can push the scrader valve and it will kill the pressure or Ive read you can open the gas cap.
