Default What engine should I choose?

Doing a ground up resto on my 1969 camaro. And im at the stage where I need to drop an engine in it. It originally came with a 350 but I wanna go with something different. Looking to make at least 450hp if not more. So give me some suggestions guys. And if you know of any local places I could by a motor from let me know thx...

427 are definatley fun!

454 will put that number out stock on premium.

ORRRR be a real man and find the LS1 conversion kit. The decreased weight is more than incentive enough, plus good gas.

Gm ZZ572 Crate motor
Go BB if at all possible, the LS1 conversion would be a pain in the ass for ya. The N/A BB will make mass torque and hp much easier than a N/A small block... You can find decent 454 cores cheap, or they make a 454HO crate pretty cheap also
