I have been to almost 10 shops and no one would remove my cat "ILLEGAL". after a while i got sick of the car and the way it drives so i just changed the cat. Thanks god it doesnt drive like ass anymore, it drives like a beast . I have to admit that you people were such a GREAT help. i appreaciate all of the inputs and opinion.

The cat will only clog if something is wrong, typically a rich exhaust. If you don't get that problem fixed, the cat will just clog up again.

yeah, actually after changing the wires by 2 days and when it sarted shaking, i took it to the mechanic and that dumb f' realized that one of the wires wasn't hooked right, so i hope that this was the problem and it is fixed. The guy in the muffler shop said that if the converter turns red, it is already too hot for the converter, which will melt it from the inside.
