I am ready to buy a Cam and I want to know what to go with. I really do not care anymore if my car is able to be an every day driver. I want to get this part of the project started however. What cam should I go with?

 

why not go ahead and do a heads cam package

 

Zac heads and cam is the way to go , I cut 1.2 sec off the 1/4 untuned! And the ls1 is more responsive to those mods! Call RX and just do it, think how much more people you could talk shit to! LOL!

 

If you have the cash...heads and a cam is the way to go. With the right combo 430-440 rwhp can be had.

For a semi aggressive cam...I would consider something like Vinces old cam. I believe it was a 232/236 on a 114 lsa lift just under .600. It even idled fairly well. That should get you in the 430+ rwhp range with stage 2 heads and the right bolt ons. It will also work well with nitrous. If your serious about heads...ask RX about thier hookup on TEA heads (Total Engine Airflow)
