As much as I hate to say it...I would consider the Patriot Gold springs. They are cheaper.

The Comp 921 spring kit would be great...a bit pricey though.

Defintaly get pushrods..they are not too expensive.Around $90-$110.

If you get heads that are milled a bit...I have an extra set of pushrods thet right size. Im selling them for $60

Patriot performance springs...You can get them through TSP(ls1tech sponsor)

They are about 295 for double springs, Ti retainers, new valve seals. And they are made for stock pockets.

The seat pressure is a bit high on them for that cam but it never hurts.

I ended up going to a Crane cams setup. About the same price also.

Is there something you don't like about Patriot Hybrid?

They have had more VERY costly failures of thier cylinder heads, springs, and valve seals that have cost people big time money and even complete engines than any other company I have ever seen.

Lately they have been getting thier act togehter but I will not trust them until they have a LONG period with no reported failures.

Nothing is worse than installing a brand new set of heads that cost $1500 along with a lot of labor $ only to find out that the valve seals used are leaking a ton of oil into the intake and smoking up the street. Patriot will send some new ones overnight...but you still have to pay some one to pull the valve covers...pop off all the springs and replace all the seals. And then there was the issue with them using POS valvesrpings from PAkistan or wherever.....people were only sometimes getting 500 mile out of thier heads before springs began breaking...sometimes causing damage.

Again...I will not trust them until they have a PROVEN track record. Right now they are in the negative...so it would take some time to get my trust with them.

Thier Gold Springs seem to be doing well so far though.
