I was thinking about swapping engines in my 01 Cavi z24 from my 2.4 to the new Colbat engine (Saturn Ion Redline) which is a 2.0superchanged ecotech engine with 205hp compared to my 150hp with the stock engine should I just build up my motor or start saving for the swap ?

 

...id say save the money on the swap and do something worthwhile...like beef up the bottom end, work the head, and spray it....definately suspension too!

 

Work with what you got.Those engines can take a far amount of abuse.If your gonna spray it then take off the head and clean all the carbon off the valve's and piston's.

 

...or just get a mister and spray alky into the engine at WOT(get a small mister for this, as alky is an oxygenate)...kinda works like steam cleaning

 

or take the engine out and buy an f16 jet engine. figure a way to flush mount it in your trunk and then your car will be faster
