I saw the car at an auction in Orlando about a month ago, they wanted way too much for it, wholesale anyway....but the car was very nice.

 

does anyone know what the car ran in the 1/4 n/a? I know it feels really strong, and I loved that T-handle shifter. If I can get the car, I will have to find a beater to tow the boat with. I was even surprised by the sound of the flowmaster muffler, it wasn't as obnoxious as I thinking it would be.

Hey. OBrien2, this is Ghost. The SES is low voltage from the air mass sensor, it just needs to be cleaned with circuitry cleaner. It's a Granatelli.

Actually 18.5K is what a CLEAN used SS is worth without the SLP package, I got more than that because it was a custom built SLP from the Y2Y form. It's got the fiberglass hood, 1LE package, Auburn rear instead of the Zexel Torsen, Bilstein suspension, ultra light driveshaft, supplemental door latches, etc. from them.
The build # is 4204. Thee was actually only 6 of them made in 2001 that had ALL the Y2Y options mine did. It was on their calendar in 2002 and 2003I used to have the breakdown on my site www.ghostrider.cz28.com

The car has 16K miles... it was babied. I've gotten 12.60s N/A (even with my big butt in it, but the best slip I can find is the one I gotta stand by). The only reason they got it from me is because they made a DEAL on the black C5 Vette I'm in. The price is a little steep, but... Vette was all I woulda bailed on it for. Just replace the solenoids and bottle and you're good to go.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I have a buddy of mine trying to work a deal with one of the guys at maher for me. He told me today that he can get the car for 18,500, so I figured that was what they gave you for it. Either way, its a beautiful car, and runs great. How did the car run with the juice? My problem is this damn s10, has me upside down. If I can work the deal right, I will be able to get it, but I will also have to find an old truck to tow the boat. Did you get a custom tune for the engine?

 

I forgot to tell you about the NOS. It's got a MAF translator and the dials are already marked. It' a NOS # 5177 system. It's set for a 135 dry shot right now. With a 100 shot it pushed 406.4 rwhp and 444.1 rwfpt on the WinPep dyno jet at FordSpeed.com. We found there was plenty of room in the A/F mixture to up it to 135.

I only ran 5 or 6 bottles through it. She's strong. If you buy it just don't hunt me down and take out the new Ghost before I get modded up.

The Hurst T-bar is aftermarket, but the Quickshifter was another SLP option. I liked it because it reminded me of the B&M Ripper

No. I was gonna have them re-do the PCM and tune it at FordSpeed when The LPE cam went in, but I sold it first. Jeremy at FasterProms does great work. As a matter of fact, when he was gathering data for LS1 edit, he took some from data fom The Ghost.

They need to drop the price some and sell it. Good luck, man.
