Default Transmission Opinions

Okay the car has 95K+miles on it. I have changed the trans fluid and filter religiously since owning the car. The transmission doesn't slip or refuse to go into gear. In short it operates perfectly. What I am thinking is dooing a shift kit and letting it go at that untill I have to spend the money on a performance rebuild or upgrade. So what do you guys think? Just a TransGo kit or do I get a performance rebuild from CRT or some other shop?

Also on a side note: Has anyone ever done a TransGo install? Is it easy to do or is it a 14 hour production number?

Hehe... I did a Transgo on Tricias car...... Let me put it to you this way... Take your sweet time. Ive never touched a auto before (only changed the fluid once) and I think it too me ~6 hrs to do it. I was taking my VERY sweet time and checking out the valvebody and parts. Kinda neat actually. The person who designed it has to be a damn genius!

The transgo is a NICE setup. It is way more involved then a B&M kit. Youre changing servo springs, diaphrams, valves, your basically disassembling the whole valvebody. The Transgo even includes a video. I would do a shift kit untill you can afford a big do tranny. He car shifts nice now. No gear float or anything.
