Default 97 Trans Am help pleez

i have a friend who has a 97 Trans Am and she is having lots of trouble with it. first off the compressor for the AC is making a hell of alot of noise but its only the pulley making the noise, when you spray belt dressing on it it shuts up till it fries and then starts squeaking again but it still blows air throught the vents when you turn on the AC. so she might need a compressor or something. also another problem she is having is that the ground wire on her brake lights is screwed so when you shut the door hard the brake lights will come on at any random time of the day or night., she has to push the brake pedal and they go off so i have really no idea how to fix that.

so what i really need is a place that has used parts for trans am, unno like speed shops that will have like 50 of them laying on the floor of there garage. any help would be greatly appreciated.

well it has a brand new belt and the pulley is turning but when you spray dressing on that pully it shuts up and then dries up and statrs squealing again. so for sure its something to do with the pulley or shaft, bearring, etc. as for pumping air it does that fine, its just something with the pulley making noise.

change the belt again.. doesnt make sense if the bearing or somethings messed up that when u spray it, it goes away..

Get a wire diagram of the brake system... and check it with a multi meter or just rewire it with new wire running it along the old path.

its not the belt, the pulley on the compressor is stiff for some reason and not spinning easily.
