Does anybody know how to remove the governor from a 97 formula one? or where i can go to get it done? my buddies car is fast, but it stops at like 105mph! Its really annoying to be racing him and just hear the engine cut back when it hits it and watch him fall behind.

 

The Fbodys ordered without Z rated tires have the computers set to govern speed to 105 MPH. There is no mechanical governor just a computer adjustment. Your freind will have to have the ECM reflashed.

 

(correction its 108...my bad) where can he get his ECM "Reflashed?" and how much are we talking?
