Default throttle body install and induction help

im getting a bigger throttle body for my firemonkey and im wondering if this is an install i can do myself or if i should take it to the shop... in theory it doesnt look hard... a couple bolts and cables and sensors and your ready to rock.... also would porting my intake manifold be worth the effort? my dads friend said something about a high rise intake manifold but isnt that only for carbeurators? help me with my induction!!

I hope you didn't pay too much for that throttle body or you have a lot of power ... as far as I know the stockers can accomodate for a good amount of power.

I wouldn't waste money on a TB at this point. There are guys on this board with big cams and hogged out heads still running fine on the stocker.

yep.. 48mm TB is good for around 400 fly wheel hp.
You will have quicker throttle response though... pressing down on the pedal, 20 degrees will feel like 30 degrees.
your intake manifold has 52mm ports. so if u bought a 52mm theres no point. If u bought anything bigger theres no point until you do heads and cam or nitrous or soemthing
