Default best thing for minor smoking prob on v6 motor

i have a 89 astro van that smokes a lil not to bad but i feel the power of the motor has goin to shit with it the way it is and i was just wondering if it is worth it to change them or if there is another way around this smoking prob ?? mechanical side of it is no prob but i have never done it and was wonder the best thing for this problem i have its v6 4.3 and the motor has 190000 miles on it

smoke=bad, 190000miles=bad, engine losing power=bad... there is one cure and it is to put your last gallon of gas in her and give her one last drive down to the junk yard.. your engine is just worn... engines lose power as they get older.. it all depends on how well you take care of them.. you could put a new V6 in there if you wanted... i dunno where your gonna find a 4.3L astrovan motor

i bought the van that way and never got into it u think rings would be a simple fix cause im just selling iti dont want to go all out for a motor

could be rings but depends on just how bad it is, i dont know but ither way it is bad
