You can always swap the 350 shortblock in place of your 305 shortblock and use all your 305 stuff for now. At least then 350 will be there. Then later on you can do an intake and a carb or goto TPI. Though while its out, it would be a good time to toss in a cam kit since they are like $100 with lifters.

Since my car is currently throttle body injected(not port) it would need eveything on the intake before the intake manifold, a new ECM, and a new fuel pump at least. This is what makes me think buying another car with a 350 would be cheaper.

Mars 302 is correct.
You can get the cam and lifters with a decent profile for makeing power from Summit Racing equipment for like $99.
