(anyone that doesn't believe me refer to this http://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/techdb.shtml )

My number 1 suggestion would be headers, and a K&N for the air cleaner. A friend of mine has a 89 Trans Am TBI, has the same motor and headers and a high flow down pipe and muffeler really made a big difference.
Cool, I didnt know you could get a TBI in a Z Kinda stupid if you ask me, but thats GM for ya

I have a 92 305 TBI. SLP catback, Ypipe, Random Tech Cat,SLP shift kit. Auburn Posi w/ 3.73's.

The best i got was 16.0@85. I wouldn't spend alot of time or waste money on that motor, It's a roach.

For the money you will dump into it, you can get an LT1 and trap 2.0 seconds lower and 15 MPH higher in the 1/4.

you will spend thousands of dollars, and still be no where near 200 RWHP.

..or swap in a TPI put a stealth ram intake manifold on, and do a h/c combo and be around 350whp...i dont see a TPI being more than a couple hundred from a junkyard...

Just dont keep the stock TPI setup. Get the miniram from TPIS (Ithink thats the name) The stock TPI falls on its face HARD ~4500+.

Nah... It flows alot better than the stock unit ever could. You want to stay away from the big box one from Lenginfelter though. Ive read alot of horror stories about it never sealing right, bolts major PITA to get to to tighten, etc..
