Default Pushrods? who needs pushrods?

Now that I have your attention I got a question about my wifes car(01' z28 A4). I got a lid from Texas Speed and Perf and reading the directions it's says to get a small filter to put on the end of the hose that runs to the header for emissions. Do I have to put a filter on it or can I somehow make it fit to the aftermarket lid. Just learning about the LS1. Oh btw if anyone cares on Oct 6th(85*temp) she went 13.68@101.77mph(2.10 60ft). Not bad for her first day in a v8. -Mark

The hose goes to the AIR pump. It would probably be a good idea to put a little filter on it. K&N has one that fits the hose. Im sure you could make it go into the lid, but I would just put a little filter on it
