yea i use it as my daily driver... I put about 15 miles a day. I also use it to pull my boat or jetskii....

Pretty low mileage it sounds like. Less than 6000 a year.

If your looking to do it cheap you could go carbed on a first gen small block.

I recommend that, lol. That motor might not actually work for towing in the low end, but you could build it for $5500.

6 speed install in a truck is a bit of a hastle too as far as shifter location ( especially if it's a standard cab) and clutch pedal mounting if it was a factory auto truck.

it's his money though.
Its up to you its that I would prefer a 6spd. over an auto anyday
and if it dont hook just get drag radials.
