The CTS-V. 400 hp LS6, 6 speed manual. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds was the only statistic in that line that the article I read on it gave me. Supposedly has nice handling and a nice interior, 45000 dollars. The downside is that it weighs something like 3800 pounds.


If that Jesus guy up in orlando can get an e55, there's got to be somebody here who wants one of these. All the bolt ons, h/c, nitrous... there are too many corvettes out there already.

 

I'm dieing to get one. I WILL have one... maybe not next year, though. I want all of the bugs worked out. So I'll give them a year to fix the mistakes.

 

Ah, nice. Pretty cool, there's nothing like going fast with style. And it's not terribly expensive.

 

to me it seems nice but it will be way overpriced (i know its all realitive) but in a heavy car, it wont move fast like an f body car and i couldnt imagine clutches in that thing if you wanted to race or play. if it runs mid to high 14s then coolness. but no replacement for our cars

Yeah, it's 3800 pounds, but a vette is what, 3200 or something (sorry if I don't know the curb weights, I'm not a real gm expert). They said it will go 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, that translates out to much faster than 14's in the 1/4.

 

ya, your more looking at mid to low 13s with that kind of power to weight. Especially hooked up to a t56 ... and were talking about a luxury car here, finally ... cadillac built something extravagant to keep up with the ever changing german market, and that thing is CHEAP for what it is, a caddy that will turn a low 13! ILL TAKE 2!!!
