Question Best bang for the buck exhaust

I have a 97' 3.8L Camaro and I can't seem to find any good exhaust systems for cheap, and everyone I know has the V-8 so they know nothing of them, my question is.....which exhaust would be the best hp adder (my car is stock except for slp intake) for the price. Thank you for your time!

Hello there. My name is Eddie. Actually, my exhaust is coming in today from summitracing.com....I ordered the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back. i also have a 97 3.8L. The order number on summitracing.com is FLO-17357. The cost is about $270 for everything...I-Pipe, Resinator, Muffler, Pipes (mandrel bent), and nice stainless steel tips.

For your V6 really any exhaust with mandrel bends will work good. Just pick your muffler... Try hooker or flowmaster for low priced high flow mufflers.

I used to have a 97 3.8L also... Get Borla!! I KNOW its more expensive than all the others, but it sounds 100x better than any other exhaust.

My first mods were the SLP intake and a Borla, and even after headers and a bunch of other stuff, my favorite mod of all was the Borla exhaust. Even if you have to save up, DO IT! This a mod that you will ALWAYS hear and feel, make it worth it. I bought mine from Summit Racing and they even gave me a hat.

Trust me, don't go with anything else... I've heard 3.8's with other exhausts and they sound like crap. Very cheap, wannabe crap. The Borla really makes it sound good. At high RPM's though, you'll need headers if you want it to stay deep. That's not to say it gets all high and shit, cause it doesn't, but it does lose the throaty sound without headers.
