I would say on the 4th oil change do it, but alot of cars come from factory w/ synthetic now. I use it in my race car fron the start when I rebuild the engine.

Just change it like any other oil.

There is nothing magic about synthetic oil. 95% of the time it behaves like any other oil and you and your car will never know the difference. By design the product has a much wider operating range than dino oil and performs with far superiority to dino oil at extrmely cold (below -20F) and extremely hot (400F) temperature. We don't have to worry about the -20F in our climate but 400F+ is very common for short periods of time near the piston rings and in turbo bearings. The product is no brainer cheap insurance for any turbo car in my opinion. The other major difference is in the additive package. Because the base oil is so stable, it can last much longer than conventional oils between changes. As such, most all synthetics have superior additive packages to better combat moisture and other by products of combustion and the oils can endure long drain intervals between changes better than conventinal dino oils.

That is pretty much all there is to it.
