04' wrx or 98' m3??
Okay prelude is dying..he needs a rest..so in the market for a "new" car. Have it fairly narrowed down to a 98 m3 with 40,000 miles (warr. still) or a 04 wrx (not sti). Both are at about the same low to mid 20k price range. I know one is awd and one is rwd, 4cy vs. v6 etc..just looking for any opinions that might push me either way...any experience with reliablity on the m3 or the wrx? thanks a lot...( and by the way in third place is a 99 infiniti q45..but that thing is a boat

Depends on what you want to do.
Style nice car comfortable and good hadleing do the Bimmer.
If you want to mod it go wth the WRX. If you go to buy speed parts fot the M3 you will find BMW means BRING MORE WALLET.

WRX means bring more wallet too..
but.. given the choice. i'd say the WRX.. but honestly.. unless your prepared to throw $5K at it.. your gonna be lucky to break out of the 13's with it.
but hey.. driving a prelude.. 13's might be fast to you.
you can buy alot of mustang/camaro with low $20K.. and not be slow anymore.

Yeah Billy but since it is on an Aussie guy it isn't a mullet. They probably call it a mullaroo or something over there.

M3 Pros: gets more looks, sound of straight 6 is oh so sexy, 240hp stock, rwd=fun, chicks dig bimmers, mad lux interior, you can turn the trac. cntrl off easily 
low 14s stock, more power than wrx stock.
M3 Cons: You brake something, be prepared to spend alota cheese once its outa warrentee, rear seat kinda sucks, if you want more power, be prepared to spend lost of cash, example: www.activeautowerke.com.
WRX Pros: BOOST BOOST BOOST! AWD, good handling, cheaper to mod. warrentee, seats 4 adults nicely, sound pimpalicious with the right exhaust. low 14s stock
WRX Cons: cheesy interior, less stock power than M3, theyre a dime a dozen now a days, looks like its on skyjacker suspension, doesnt look as pimp as BMW.
*everything is mostly opinion, im a little bias, any problems with anything i put. fuck off....or just flame me
