Well, not new actually, but new to me.

Since I needed some transportation for me and my porsche parts for the next few months I got lucky and tracked down the following jewel on TR.

My thanks to DigitalJames for a car that starts and runs good. I have also discovered after an A/C recharge it still blows ice cold air.

All it needs is a set of front rotors (warped) and CV boots (cracked) it will be as good as new.

Not bad for $250 bucks. The less it eats into my porsche mod budget the better.

Make sure to check out the appropriate stickers I put on the rear.

yeah my first car was $50 so i cant talk much lol.

 

The lack of power, traction and braking are allowing me to fine tune my energy concerving driving techniques.

 

how far along are you w/ the 930?
last i saw you posted pics w/o the engine.

 

Everything is in pieces and I'm slowly cleaning, polishing, prepping and measuring parts.

In the next few weeks I need to make a few road trips to get my machining work done.

The budget for all this is the hardest part to deal with right now.

I currently have about $2K of the $5K of parts that I need to complete my project.

Coming up with the remaining $3K is going to take forever and why I needed some cheap transportation in the mean time.

If the escort serves me well I may even keep it when I am done as a daily beater and only take the 930 out for special occasions.
