as a rule of thumb, dollar per watt

and I personally woulnt run that amp @ 2 ohm load bridged

i take it you changed your mind on the sub too
IM lookin for a decent 200 watt amp to power a alpine 10 inch type R. My budget for the amp is 200 max, but it better be reaaally fuckin worth it. This is not a big system obviously, but i want an amp that wont suddenly break apart.

Thanks/.

well the type r specs yu gave said dual 4 ohm voice coil. 2 ohms or 8 ohms. paralell or series.. 2 ohms give you more power (so to say) but the amp will work arder, and I question the ability of that amp @ 2 ohms for too long
